Who We Are

Lani  of Boobie Time Blog is mom to her boy “B” who keeps her on her toes. By trade Lani is a Pediatric Dental Hygienist. She loves breastfeeding and baby-wearing. She feels very strongly that women are each other’s greatest support when it comes to successful breastfeeding and parenting. In her spare time she loves photography and up-cycling furniture.

Becky is a housewife to a loving husband, writer, runner, aspiring midwife and mother to a 5 year old, 2 year old and a 2 month old.

Christina resides in North Carolina with her loving husband and is a peaceful parent to three beautiful children. She considers herself a bit of a geek, an intactilactivist, an aspiring birth doula, and all-in-all just a free spirit.

Deanna is the Mother Hen from The Good Letdown  and admin for The Normalizing Nursing in Public League (The NNIPL), extraordinary wife and mother, tandem nursing crunchy mama, intactivist, lactivist, natural childbirth, and everything attachment parenting.

Elizabeth is a former Early Intervention worker, is currently an at home mom, and may one day be an accountant. Married with three children ages 13, 7, and 4 months. She is passionate about breastfeeding education and mothers’ rights, and is loving life in the great state of Texas!

Harley is a former Navy Seabee, wife of 10 years, and mother of 6. She is tandem nursing her 1 year old and 3 year old. She is  mother, Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator with CAPPA, and a myriad of other professions that revolve around birth, babies, and breastfeeding. She is owner of A Mamas Nirvana Birth Services, founder of a non-profit organization B.A.B.E.S. in Partnership of Camden, and a founder of Birth Professionals International.

Jamie is a wife and mother by way of birth and Ethiopian adoption. Jamie is an advocate for adoptive breastfeeding, and is currently breastfeeding both of her children. She is founder of the Fayye Foundation, helping fight maternal mortality in Sidama, Ethiopia. Jamie is the author of  I am Not the Babysitter, Mommy Hates Chemicals, and is a contributor for MomsLA

Jessica is a small business owner of Popped psychology major, wife and mother of 4 girls, nursing a toddler, and an avid breastfeeding advocate.

Joni is a Kitchen Witchy artist, writer, and mother, blogging about her mostly crunchy life with four fantastic children and a truck driving husband.

Leslie is a homeschooling mother of 6, ages 1-10, pregnant with her 7th while tandem nursing her 1-year-old and 3-year-old. Aspiring homesteader and herbalist, active activist mama helping mammas and babies at Peaceful Parenting, The Whole Network and Human Milk 4 Human Babies.

Michelle  is a happily married Christain mommy of 4 wonderful children. A loving lactivist who doesn’t condone anyone for their personal life choices, but is passionate about defending the choices and legal/civil rights of both myself and my children. I currently reside in Friendswood, Texas where I am both a business owner and stay at home mom.

Sarah is an English wife to a US Navy sailor, cloth diaper enthusiast, ap parenting, co-sleeping, intactavist, lactivist mama to three… Crunchy? Moi? Just a bit ;~)

Victoria is a mother of three, two boys and a girl who has breastfed for a combined total of 84 months. As a lactivist, intactivist and supporter of home-birth is very active on all fronts, a Birth and Post-postpartum Doula, a Certified Lactation Counselor. Victoria is an admin for HM4HB and Co-Founder of Occupy Breastfeeding. She also initiated and coordinated World Milk-Sharing Week. It is her goal to soon see a normalization in public breastfeeding and an increase in breastfeeding rates through education and support.


Bettina is a co-founder and the President of the Best for Babes Foundation. She is a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC).  She is motivated to develop a cutting-edge social & business entrepreneurship hybrid to act as a catalyst in raising breastfeeding rates through a top-down marketing effort among partners with a vested interest.

Annie from a PhD in Parenting is a social, political and consumer advocate on issues of importance to parents, women and children. She  uses her blog as a platform to create awareness and to advocate for change, calling out the government, corporations, media and sometimes other bloggers for positions, policies and actions that threaten the rights and well-being of families. Annie also contributes to Care2 CausesAttachment Parenting International, and Moms Rising.

Gena the host of  Progressive Parenting an online radio talk show is as a Doula, Childbirth Educator, LLLI breastfeeding peer counselor, and concerned parent of three children, who understands the difficulties involved with parenthood. Gena has served on the board of directors for Attachment Parenting International for 4 years.
